...so it's been a month...
wow, i need more access to the internet. Actually, that is kind of funny, considering the fact that I work 7 days a week for 8 hours a day at 2 jobs that deal solely with me hanging out on the computer. I guess i have been more interested in checking out my bank account (which currently rests at -.34) and checking my email which always holds a big fat 0 in the inbox followed by a 2,348 in the bulk mail folder.
Brian came home to Lexington on July 2 and went back to Lejeune on July 5. We had a great time together, and are noticably in love. We had a blast in King's Island and became "official" on July 4. We were laying on his couch and out of nowhere, he said "stay with me." and i said "huh?" and he said "be my girlfriend." it was the sweetest thing ever. So obviously i agreed and we have been together for 3 weeks now. Because we have been best friends for somewhere around 5 years, things have just come so easily for us. Everything seems so perfect and right.
I am making the drive to see him on August 6-8. Lejeune is 622 miles from Lexington, which translates to an 8 or 9 hour trip. I don't care. I just want to see him and be there for him (he had a really crappy past week, and i dont think it is gonna get better anytime soon). I also cannot WAIT to see this place he has been talking about and calling me from for the past 3 years. I will be so glad when he gets out of the Marine Corps for good in March. Then we can be together all the time for as long as we want. O i just cannot wait. I know he is so far away from me, but all I have to do is think of him when i am having a crummy day and everything is instantly better. I love him.
Well, I am gonna finish some last minute things at work. Will try to be more frequent, although I cannot promise anything...
