Movin' right along...
Okies. i have not written in this thing for FOREVER! I am now doing my internship monday thru friday at the Winchester Sun from 7am-4pm and working 16-24 hour weekends here at the hospital. It's tiring and time consuming, but it's all about the experience. At the Sun, I work with some of the greatest people. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we even get to wear jeans on Fridays! I could not have chosen a better summer job.
Brian comes home on Friday of this week! We get to hang out every second of every day until he has to go back on Tuesday. We are going to Macaroni Grill on one of the nights and on the 5th, we are heading off to King's Island with my little sister and her boyfriend, if they don't break up before then. I cannot wait to watch the fireworks with him. He is a marine and for some reason, that is just "our holiday". Our most vivid memory of each other is July 4th of 2000 hanging out all night as the fireworks were shooting off around us. All of my friends are so excited to see us together. Their general response is "yah emily, havent u noticed that he has had a crust on you since 10th grade?" He is currently stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and has a four year contract that is ending in March of 2005. When he gets out he wants to be a teacher. He is amazing. *This Brian is not the same Brian as the one who broke up with me in May*
Well, I am at the end of my work shift, so i need to finish some last minute things. I will write later when I find the time. One would think that because i spend 8 hours a day in front of a computer, i would have time to write in a journal... how misled we are...
