working with gradients: part the first

Nov 24, 2005 19:55

So we had no internet last night. Due to this fact, I got bored and I made two new wallpapers, trying to figure out the gradient tool in PhotoShop. Neither of these are fancy walls, just simple overlays of color and variant brushes on walls.

Simple diagonal color overlay across a production still from The Cell. Brushes credited in nematoddity's userinfo; I promise, some day, I'll drag them over here. Standard 800x600 wallpaper.

Really simple color overlay across a promo shot from Dead Zone. This one always makes me think of 1970's coloration; don't ask me why. I don't think I used anything other than the color overlay, and a blurred orange/black/lavender border around the main picture. Standard 800x600 wallpaper.

There they are. We have net back now. Tra-la.

(Rules standard--take what you will, if you upload it to a page just don't claim it as your own. That's all.)
