With Lost now entering its fourth episode this week, things have started to calm down considerably for me. It's nice to see the show doing so well. We've started with the flashback episodes now that allow those watching a little glimpse into each character's life before the crash. Claire's episode won't air until the end of November. Even with the limited amount of screen time Claire has received in the first few episodes, the time on screen has been good. It's like peeling an orange slowly with each of the characters. Getting to know them a little bit more with each episode. You don't get it all at once. Knowing everything about everyone at this point in the game would ruin it for those watching along.
Next week, I appear as a guest star on CSI: Miami. It was filmed before Lost began filming again earlier this summer, and everyone should watch it. I've not seen the show much myself, but the cast of actors is excellent. One of the past Roswell costars is also now on it. I didn't get to work much with Adam because he came in after Tess departed in Season 3, but we did work on one episode of Roswell when they brought Tess back to kill her off at the end of season 3.
It's good getting to play different characters. Trying out different personas. Getting yourself seen. Since I began acting years ago, it has been my dream to act. It was what I want to be doing for the rest of my life. This isn't just a pastime for right now. This is what I want to be and do. When I was younger, I thought that was to be a dancer, but once I began to act my life's focus became that. Acting is a part of me. A big part of my life. I can't really see myself doing anything else.
