As of now, here are the Colleges I'm looking to Apply To:
*Kalamazoo in Michigan
*Rhodes in Tennessee
*Franklin and Marshall in Pennsylvania (woot!)
*University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
*Colgate in New York
*Eugene Lang College in New York
*Elon University in North Carolina
*Lewis and Clark in Oregon (just to humor my parents)
The only thing is, I honestly don't know if I'll get into even one of these schools. Which would suck. A lot. Every time I fall in love with another liberal arts school (which is what most of these are) I end up realizing my chances of being accepted are slim. I hate that.
So, anyone know of any small liberal arts type schools, preferably East Coast, that would be considered Safety Schools for someone with this type of a school portfolio:
ACT Score: 26
SAT Score: 1880 out of 2400 (I think that'd be about a 1220/1600 by old score standards)
GPA: 3.6/3.7
Class Rank: 51 out of 350 (I'm not sure the exact number but it's around 350)
I know, I suck.
But with any luck and a good deal of serious studying my SAT/ACT scores should go up. Am re-taking both tests this September/October.
rhodes,
