(no subject)
I did not realize until now just how fucking brilliant Radiohead really is. Just needed to say that.
The weekend at home was great. Kate and I spent a lot of time together, being ridiculous, playing ERS, watching movies. Mom took me and Kate to see The Devil Wears Prada. It was good. Not amazing, but worth seeing. Meryl Streep can do anything, I swear to God. And I got my grandparents to go out for Thai food with us, so I guess hell froze over.
I already miss my house where there are no guys. Even my cats are female. I'm not trying to be all angry feminist here, but I really miss my girlfriends. (ALYSE WHERE ARE YOU?!?!? Oh yeah, you're on vacation. Lucky).
Today it looks like I'm going to watch the fireworks with some friends. I just hope the weather doesn't suck. That wouldn't be fun. I think I already have some sort of cold or sinus infection and standing in the rain I'm sure wouldn't make things any better. I want to go back to sleep, and my head to stop feeling like it's going to implode.
In other news, my Creative Writing class is a lot of fun. I recommend it to anyone. My professor, Salita Bryant, is great. Really funny, and supportive, and makes a 3 1/2 hour class fly by.
