Holy moly!

Thanksgiving is this week, which means deadlines are crazy at work, and there's a ton of stuff to square away in order to take off Thursday and Friday. And I'm going to New York next week, which means there's a ton more stuff to square away. Mental note: It's a really dumb idea to take time off the week after a major holiday. And that's not to mention all the stuff I have to do at home! It's hard work going on vacation.

I _am_ excited about New York, though. I'm going at this time to see the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center on Wednesday (a full six days after Thanksgiving, thank you very much), and the rest of the time we'll just be hanging out there. Hopefully going to see a couple friends and explore and see a show and maybe some sites. I'm not sure yet, and it's strange because I usually plan things out pretty meticulouly before I do them, and for this I'll just be going with the flow, which is new. I think I'm growing. But if anyone has any suggestions of what to do, lemme know. I've been to NY only once before, so I probably haven't done what you'd suggest.
