Kidney update

So: I just spent four hours in the ER. Nothing showed up on the abdominal CT and there was nothing remarkable in the bloodwork or UA. Frustrating to the max. Especially since I'm in enough pain that 6mg of morphine has only dropped my pain from a 10 to a 5. And I'm still fully conscious, walking fine, and coherently talking, which you shouldn't be able to on that much morphine. The doc seemed to think since the tests were negative that I had somehow pulled a muscle and that's all it is. I still say it's a kidney stone. There's a kind formed by uric acid buildup that isn't visible on CT but still causes all of the other classic kidney stone symptoms. ARG.

I'm going to enjoy the morphine while it lasts.
