New Year = My 2007 Fanfiction List
Happy New Year, flist! ♥ I've had a wonderful holiday season and I hope everyone had good times as well. :)
I wasn't planning on doing a list this year because of how little I wrote, but looking back it last year's list and just seeing everything I wanted to do and didn't get to was a bit disappointing. It makes me really want to get on the ball in '08 and hopefully I will have a lot more work to list this time next year and not as much of things I want to do. So mostly for my benefit so I know what I did, how much of it and what I want to accomplish...
2007 Fanfiction:
The Potters and Dumbledore's Secret - 3 Chapters. 10,501 words. PG. Fantasy/Adventure. AU. Book 1 of the Stagverse series. The Potters survived Halloween 1981. Harry tries to deal with his first year at Hogwarts. But not everything can go smoothly, Dumbledore is hiding something at Hogwarts and a teacher seems to be after it!
Gotham OYL - Prologue. 732 words. PG. Drama/Action. DC Comics AU. Before there was a Crisis, Gotham was in the middle of War Games. A foolproof plan gone wrong. Another Robin lost. Then reality got fixed.
One Good Deed Deserves Another - One-shot. 885 words. Post-HBP. Harry Potter has a weakness. Ginny Weasley fell into a trap. Draco Malfoy has a decision to make.
What to look forward to in 2008?
Completing Dumbledore's Secret and starting Monster of Slytherin. (Ch 13 final draft in progress)
More Chapters of Protector of Konoha. (Will take new direction. Outline in progress for prologue rewrite)
The Evans Family (title subject to change) - R. Angst. AU Post-Hogwarts. Away from the Wizarding World, Harry Potter has his perfect family. Has me made his dreams into reality? Or is reality too harsh but to live in dreams. (short multi-chaptered story. first draft of prologue done)
Bewitched! (title subject to change) - PG-13. Drama/Romance. AU. A spell exists that no wizard knows of. Witches do. 'The power the dark lord knows not'. How curiosity changed the course of destiny and the fate of the Boy-Who-Lived. (8-9 chapters long. first draft of prologue done)
WAYNE - R. Drama/Action. DC Comics AU. Unable to hold off the inevitable any longer, Bruce Wayne returns from his voyages with a determined mission. To protect Gotham and the innocent. A wise cop, a determined DA and a vigilante of a feather share his vision. (5,000 words written so far)
These are the ones that have my creative brain on overdrive and I hope to be producing readable chapters very shortly. All other stories (ones I mentioned last year or haven't mentioned at all yet) are on the backburner for now all for different reasons, but hopefully will get a chance to peek out in '08.
