I must say that my supervisor that hired me is one of the nicest people I've met. She's clearly perfect in her job, and is very frank, which is nice in people.
But that wasn't the point of this entry, this was more: I'd like to wish really
reallycorking a very, happy birthday! She's a very motivated artist, and a super nice person, so I hope her day was full of awesomeness! *hugs*
The other reason, not as special as a birthday , but as things were getting cleaned up the other day, an item was brought to my attention that I hadn't seen in probably a good ten years. I have no clue what the name of it is, but I took pictures showing it's use, maybe someone will remember what they were called. I definitely don't see them anymore, a part of my childhood, much like Pogs were, just a passing fad.
It's this whip-like bracelet, that you would whack your wrist with to make it roll along it. If anyone had one like this ever... if you know the name that would be neat.
The toy in question, and my wrist after slapping the object at it, it begins to curl around it.
Although in its old age, it needs help, it is then supposed to whip around and close automatically.
