Potty Party!!!
Today Andy and I threw Alek a "Potty Party"
Alek responds well to parties... particularly if there is cake involved. He's been practicing sitting on a potty occasionally, but were never in a right state of mind to really stick with it, so he always thought it was play.
Now we mean business. We had big party, complete with cupcakes, (Alek chose fun-fetti flavor with sprinkles), guests of honor and presents. Mr. Incredible, Dash and the robots attended. So did Puppy, the baby puppy, and other stuffed animals. Alek got big boy underwear, hand towel, fun soap and stickers. We said good bye to the diapers, put the last one in the trash and just went with it. So far so good. He did really well and this mom is very, very proud!!! Here are some pictures. It's nice to have this to be excited about and a great distraction!
