You're right, poor misunderstood Tony stories will soon be the order of the day. I love NCIS and all of it's characters, so the character bashing stories make me nutty. Taking a character to a personality extreme for a story point of view is great, especially in the right hands, but the Tim is whiny and mean/Tony is nothing but a bully/Abby is a self-centered baby unredeaming stories are entirely one note and don't do anything for me.
While glad to hear your son's recovery is on track, I'm sorry to hear that he's losing so much function. I really feel for him. I fell last winter and badly broke my right (dominant) arm and shoulder. It's been a year, and I'm finally accepting that I'll only get back partial use of my arm and learning to go on from here. Your son will get there too. The very best thing you can do is just what you already are -- offer support, love and patience. I know I couldn't have come through the past year without the unconditional support of my family.
