"What are you doing?" Sam was back from his shower, hair still wet but he moved more smoothly now. From the kitchen door he had a skeptical eye on Dean at the stove.

"Blueberry pancakes." Dean answered with only a quick side glance at his brother, he had to flip the pancake in a second or it would get too dark.

"D'n?" Baby mumbled and fought but failed to open her eyes. "Why are you calling me flower names?"

The words came out in a mash which reminded Dean of her first hours as a human. Turned out he was still pretty good at understanding her.

"Baby?" With rising panic Dean killed the engine. "C'mon, wake up."

He shook her shoulder but only accomplished to let her head roll to the other side, freeing Sam's hand but doing nothing to calm Dean down.
