Today I saw Legion

Hello!!!

Like the title says, today I saw the movie called Legion. Like a couple of you know I dont usually (more like I never) do a hollywood movie recc but since I heard a couple of people being afraid of the movie or thinking that is somewhat diabolic I wanted to clear those things up.

Since I saw the trailer in YT I wanted to see the movie. I always look for interesting plotlines or movies that take a already use plot and change it a little. Legion is the typical apocaliptic movie. Change here is that is heavens who is in charge of the extermination of human kind (something similar to Noah and the flood, thou here God didnt exactly came up with a back-up humankind saving plan). The "heroe" here is the angel Micheal (played by Paul Bettany) that after disobey God's order comes down to Earth, literally cut his wings off and prepares what he needs to save the human kind. If you are one of the people that you cant handle much blood then I dont think you would tolerate the scene where he stiches himself.

Theres this thing I think everyone should understand. There some lightly disturbing things like human being "possesses". I dont know if someone knows that either Heaven or Hell doesnt have the structure that human have ergo they cant be physically on Earth. So they need to possesse a human for them to be on Earth.

There were some nasty scenes but didnt spend too much screen time. I think the longest creepy scene was the grandma scene which is partly on the trailer. The one of the Ice Cream Man didnt last more than 20ss. It was like he got out of the van, his body strech in a bit weird way, his scream and then they shoot him and he was dead. The other nasty scene didnt last more than 30-40ish secs.

The main thing about the movie was to deliver and save the baby's life. And that Michael restore God's faith in human kind. I think Im gonna leave it here, dont know if is really clear but I just wanted to let you know that is not as creepy at its seems and that it took several bible stories and respecfully make them into a contemporary movie.

I think of it as a one of the many movies you see on the Holy Week but with better effects and with tons of action.

If anyone wants to know more or something expecific let me know in the comments and I will happily reply to you!
