Busy busy busy!!!
Yep, have been doing quite a lot this week!! But before I start my iTunes thinks it's December...it keeps playing xmas songs for some reason, and I can't be bothered to skip them....lalala!!
On Tuesday mum took me to Kings Road to get me my 21st present. We went to Peter Jones and I am now the proud owner of a BEAUTIFUL watch. Aww, its so pretty, I keep looking down at it in disbelief!! We then went up to the Cri, to try and book for Mack and Mabel, but were told by my little friend to "come back tomorrow and I'll sort it out..."
So, last night we went to see Mack and MAbel. Dave got us some lovely seats front row of the Dress Circle. It was funny goin back, especially with our hand-written ticket that got us in for nowt! We saw Igor and a few other ushers from the days of the RSC...including a certain ex-RSC performer who is now working on the sweet counter in the foyer...
Mack and Mabel was outstanding, it really was. David Soul was VERY good in the part. there were only 10 people in the cast and all the actors doubled up as the orchestra, which was even more impressive. I spent the last five minutes quietly sobbing, which my sister found highly amusing! I know it sounds stupid, considering that I knew Mabel Normand was a drug addict, but it never really occured to me that she would die at the end of the show.
And today was interesting. I went to the hospital for my appointment. The doctor was lovely and I think I managed to tell her everything important - the sore throat, the headaches/dizzyniess, the pain in my joints, the confusion, insomnia, restlessness, light sensitivity, frustration the cramp and the excrutiating exhaustion. They took blood and I'm going back, probably within the month, for a brain scan. Like Mum said, they probably just want to make sure I have a brain ;0)
