I’ve been very busy lately. We recorded five Ghidorah songs and I am preparing to record VOX Friday. I am going to pull and all nighter Thursday to finalize lyric ideas.

Malia’s 20 B-day was on Friday here in Shoreline. It was very much fun.

Sunday was Splinter Squid, an all day noise show and BBQ. It is an offshoot of the Wooden Octopus Skull festival. The show had tons of interesting characters all there to enjoy savagely brutal noise. It was at the SS Marie Antoinette, an old boat warehouse turned into an art loft and venue. It was tons of fun! The noise acts were rad!

Monday me and my father went up to visit Grandma Joan in Sedro Wooley. She is actually doing very well. I brought her a purple plant and a Joanna Newsome CD. We talked about all types of things. It was a much needed trip.

Hanson and I picked up the Fall 2006 Michael Mays recording session. Its missing the theme song that never got recorded. Mays also jammed with Kevin Glasel the other day, which went well.

I went with Malia, Tim, and Courtney to an improv-comedy show and Mike ‘The Man’ Murphy was in the show and it was very funny.

Ghidorah played a show Monday at Atlas Clothing store on Capital Hill. We played with Fellow, Me & Him Call it Us from Atlanta Georgia, and Behold the Rolling Thunder. Jason Reemer set the show up. Jason’s brother’s name is Jerome. The show was good and Me @ Him Call it Us stayed at our place afterwards.

The day before that I finished VOX for the first Ghidorah song, now called ‘Poisoned Future’. It was then put up on myspace.com. As embarrassing as this may sound I was excited about putting it on the internet. Now my only musical goal before I take a creative break is to finish lyrics for 2 and 5 which we are recording on Sunday night and Monday all day.

The day before I recorded VOX was St. Patrick’s Day and also my cousin Patrick’s B-day. I went over and visited him and brought my recorder and recorded him and his friend Ivan. I wasn’t able to make proper mixes so Patrick is going to come over tomorrow night and we are going to work on transferring vocals. We also went to a party at Paul Green and Nick Nelson’s new house. It looked like fun. I also saw Julie and Maia. I need to cut loose more because I was too much of a square at that party.

Me, and some others, are planning to move to either The U-district, or Capitol Hill this September.
