BIKE
I bought a road bike today! I made sure to buy one that was large so I wouldn’t get back pains. My new bike is purple instead of pink, which was the color of my old bike. I went over to Brent’s place after I got the new bike and we rode around and got lunch. Afterwards I lent him my old bike, which will probably fit him a lot better than it fit me. I will be broke for a while, but I am still stoked about it! Bikes are sweet because when gas gets so expensive that poor people can’t afford to drive cars bikers will still be able to get around, and for free. Bikes don’t cause global warming either, which is rad!
BAND
My band, Ghidorah, started recording, and I’m already excited about it. We ran into some trouble and had to redo a recording session, which put us a day behind. We also have a show scheduled at a place on Capitol Hill called Atlas, which should be amazing!
WORK, SCHOOL
I’ve been working 40 hours a week lately and it is very hard for me. I think what makes it worse is that I get home at midnight after every shift. I almost never can go out and make plans for those nights. I am planning on taking a class at Shoreline Community College next quarter, and at that time I am going to request my schedule change to part time, which should hopefully open up my evenings more often.
