Tears in my eyes reading this. You can just feel the pain that Lee and Kara are going through. I like the notion that Zak was the only person who truely knew Lee and Kara.

It sad to see Lee not able to grieve for his brother, between taking care of his mom and worrying about Zak.

Can't wait to see more!

Yeah, I teach middle school special ed to kids who spent an hour calling my a f*ing b* today (does LJ have profanity rules?) because they'd like to both not do any work and also pass my class. But only 27 school days until summer break!

Middle school is a tough crowd but with special ed it is probably tougher. Where do you teach?

I have no idea about the profanity rules and since this is your journal you may be okay.

Sadly no summer breaks in my profession.:(

Inner city Baltimore. 5th most dangerous neighborhood in the country, complete with two shootings in or near the school in the last month. You see why we're glad for a break :)
