I just spent the last 2.5 hours playing "Peasant's Quest" and won! "Peasant's Quest" is a very amusing little video game that can be found in the "games" section on www.homestarrunner.com. It is done in the style of the old 16-color games that were popular in the early ninety's for PC computers, yet it was made last year. Much of the game is spent trying to get your character stinky, dirty and just a little bit on fire so a knight will think you are a peasant and then you can climb a mountain to get to Trogdor's lair, where you want to kill him in revenge for "burninating" your home. Trogdor is a weird dragon thing with one big muscly looking human arm. It only really makes sense if you are familiar with a lot of the sketches on the website, but if you have 2.5 hours to kill, its worth it.
Kind of just festering around the house so far. I have kind of felt like maybe I was coming down with something for the last two weeks, but it never got worse so I thought maybe our apartment was infested with black mold. Good news is that now I feel worse, so it probably is a cold after all. Got a X-mas party tonight though with the film and video production services company that I do most my work for. Sick or not, I'm going, as last year's was a big, fun, drunken extravaganza of fun-ness. Hopefully Osbick_bird feels okay enough with her school work that she can come too.
