I almost ended up teaching here. I'm pretty glad I won't be working for a "bozo". (the article doesn't mention it, but she's going to college on a full ride, too.)
For those who don't know, I do have a job for next year -- at the Williamsburg High School for Architecture & Design. It's in Williamsburg (duh), and it's a brand new school opening this fall with only 100 9th-graders. I'm really really excited about it.
Classes are going well, although I am completely exhausted when I get home at night. I seriously don't do much other than eat, sleep, shower, and go to class. But, hey, at least I'm not at Wellesley :)
Heading down to DC for the weekend -- really looking forward to getting out of the city for awhile. Hopefully I'll get myself into a schedule once I start teaching summer school and might actually be able to let you people know what I'm up to.....
