NADWCON 2013 Tickets on sale now!
The Bi-annual (every two year, semi-annual would be twice a year) North American Discworld Convention is being organized for next Summer, and it will be in Baltimore, in a beautiful port side hotel (right next to the water!). The dates are July 5-8, 2013, but I'll arrive a day early to enjoy the 4th of July in Baltimore (I'm sure there will be fireworks out over the water).
In September 2009 I attended the first NADWCON in Tempe, Arizona, I was blown away by all the fun and costumes. We had a Klatch (Middle Eastern) inspired banquet, complete with belly dancers:

So last year, July 2011, I went to Madison, Wisc. for the second NADWCON, and it was even better (of course I had actual costumes to wear, but really everything was even better!). We had crafting classes to make our own Nac Mac Feegles, and Neil Gaiman came to join Terry Pratchett on a trip down memory lane:
We had a Night in Quirm themed banquet, and a million things to see and do.
I don't know what all will be planned for Baltimore, but I just assume it will be incredibly fun! Tickets can be bought through here.
