It's (already) beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!

 I had a lovely Thanksgiving with friends, and I haven't even finished digesting the (very heavy and starchy) meal, but my Christmas tree is up:

Geez, you are so ahead of the game! I'm still considering putting up a tree this year. Even if it's just a tree and lights. May as well see if the gang will leave it alone or not.

I'm hoping to be able to order my cards next week if I can manage to get the right photos of the gang. I think I have some good ones I can use.

You know I love your cards, I have saved them all in my scrapbook for each year...

As I said on facebook: I really needed to put up my tree early, I didn't get to put mine up last year because everything was in storage, so it made me really happy to get it up early.

I'm so happy to know you love the cards so much. So many people really enjoy them, which makes me enjoy sending them out all that much more!

Yeah, even though I really hate the whole commercialization of the holiday, it really does make me smile to see all the beautiful decorations. Having a tree has always been something I looked forward to. I just need to find a way to make it work.

well my tree is all glass (obviously not child or pet friendly) but when we were little my Mother had a tree in the kid's play area that was unbreakable ornaments, and although it didn't crash down too often, it made it a lot easier when it did come crashing down!
