DVDs

I have a whole list of movies I would enjoy seeing in the theaters:
Sicko
Hairspray
Becoming Jane
and the up coming
Stardust
Death at a Funeral
but instead of getting to the theater, and catching up, I've been watching some DVDs:

Infamous ended up getting over-looked because everyone had just seen Truman, but this is much better: better characterizations, more deeply felt characters, and a more subtle plot.  Daniel Craig was brilliant and Sandra Bullock has never been this good before in her life.
Miss Potter is the story of Beatrix Potter, and it is a quiet little film that got over-looked because it really isn't the kind of thing that makes a noise, but it is charming and oddly satisfying...

The thing that unites the two are that they are both about writers, people who are out of place in their world and trying to create a world in which they would be at home.
