Today was the last day of my ceramics class: American Raku, it was a long day: I started at 9:30 am and didn't leave until we finished the fourth firing of the day at almost 3 pm. I ended up getting 7 masks done today...

you'll notice that I did a lot of carving on the above after I took the picture of the wet clay mask and before it was bisque fired.
and finally this one never managed to get a photo taken before it was finished... I have mixed feelings about some of the masks, things didn't always work out as I wanted... but I have loved the class! Too bad it is over now. I think I'll return in the Fall to take another class... probably.
