Birka seemingly went well, despite the weather keeping some folks home, and my hotel room
causing some allergy/dryness issues for me. People seemed very appreciative of my efforts.
I had Sunday and Monday to recover, because I have been at the same workplace for MANY

For those reading this who are SCA, she was called into court to be given a Queen's Honor of Distinction for her service!

"The QHD is an honor instituted by Edict of HRM Elspeth, and continued by various subsequent Queens of the East. It is intended to recognize worthy deeds and good works not otherwise covered by the OBT, KOE, QOC, Cyphers, etc. It is given entirely at the Queen’s discretion, for such reasons as she sees fit. The token bears her cognizance or other symbol of the Queen’s choice. No scrolls are given for this award."
