*shakes fists to the sky* Give me focus!!!

Really, please?

I feel I can do great things. I pick up nearly anything, save spanish, relitively simply when I simply focus on the task at hand and ploughing through. I'm sure there's plenty more out there that has the same problem.

The problem is, of course, pushing myself to do so. And it's never so simple as that; there's always other things to do, and quite honestly, some things I want to learn is hard work. I've been able to turn it on at a certain interval (called 'last minute panic'), but there is the trouble that if I don't have a deadline, I don't reach that point. Even when I was learning the piano, I felt listless when I practiced.

I have taught myself patience, but all the patience in the world just turns to empty time if I can focus on what needs to be done. I believe I now have a new goal set for me. Though here the catch-22 lies; how can I learn to focus when it requires focus itself?

My question to you is this; what animal would you consider to be the most focused? Patience I have, but focus...
