This is just a quick post to wish everyone a very happy Pi Day! Don't knock yourselves out with too much celebrating, though, okay? :)

The story written for me in the dgficexchange was posted, and it is absolutely fabulous. In my (admittedly biased) opinion, it is the best fic of the exchange so far. I am truly very lucky. To get the really important news out of the way, I am done with my Christmas shopping!

Now, the main point of the post: the next chapter of "In My Life" is up. I'm afraid, though, that it will be a couple of weeks before the next one goes up--I'm going to be pretty busy with the holidays and a wedding.

First, I want to wish everyone a very Happy Pi Day! Go forth and celebrate mathematics wherever you find it. (I am bringing pie to my Calc class today, which will hopefully encourage them to speak up. They are a very quiet group of students.)

Happy Pi Day! I plan to celebrate this afternoon, right before my class, when it will be 3/14 1:59:26. My students will of course think I am crazy. But that is part of the point. I hope you all find some way to celebrate the annual "mathematical holiday".
