Hey everyone!!! So, im back from New York and let me tell u, it was AMAZING!!! I couldnt believe it...this is the breakdown:
Sat 6/04-Arrived at JFK airport in Queens at about 4pm NY time, checked into the Broadway Plaza hotel on 27th and Broadway (not a bad hotel, but not the best either), went and had real NY pizza down the street, and then crashed at hotel
Sun 6/05- rode the subway (and had to ask alot of people how to get places), Time Square (WOW) it was crazy, stood in line to get tickets to see Movin Out matinee, saw show (amazing dancing), went to Macys (bought a t-shirt and cool Mac makeup), ate at Bubba Gumps Shrimp Co, came back to hotel and crashed
Mon 6/06- took boat tour around Manhatten (saw statue of liberty, ellis island, lots of buildings, and some of NJ), saw ground zero (very sad), went to Radio City Music Hall to see stars walking into the Tonys (didnt see many), went up in empire state building (i strongly do NOT recomend this, long lines and boring), ate bbq at cute jazz place, back to hotel
Tues 6/07- Central park (strawberry fields and zoo), went to greenwich village, ate at jeckle and hyde (rockin place, go there!), back to time square, went back to hotel and got all pretty, took taxi (thought i was gonna die) went to the 21 Club for dinner (very fancy), saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway (i have no words to describe how amazing this was), ate dessert at Bubba Gumps again (mmm yummy food), back to hotel at 1am
Wed 6/08- Gucci ($65 g-string, dont ask), Armani ($52 t-shirt, says armani on it, i had to), Saks ($110 dolce and gabbana bra, too cute to pass up), shopping on Fifth Avenue (priceless) hehe, saw The Producers (incredibly funny), went to Little Italy and ate dinner, back to times square, 6 levels of toys r us, dessert at planet hollywood
Thurs 6/09- shopping at bloomingdales (bought panties that say "bloomies" on them), dumb tourist (i <3 NY) shopping lol, ate NY pretzel, JFK airport, home by 2am (5am ny time)
Fri 6/10- extremely long journal entry
I also saw other things like the Chrysler Building, the Trump Tower, and Rockefeller center but only walking by them. The subway system is VERY hard to understand, there are a billion trains in all different colors, numbers, and letters all going different places, but by the end of our trip my mom and i had it down pretty good (at least where we needed to go). Taxi's are expensive. Broadway shows are extremely impressive. And that was my trip to New York...i loved it and i think everyone should go there at least once in their life!!! yay for NY!!!! and if u read all that then i luv u lol. <3
