(no subject)
i survived my first day of orientation. no one got hit by a car, which was my ultimate goal.
apparently there was a drug bust gone wrong in prince william county. a guy from winchester told me about it today. people should look it up. the story was outrageous. it happened like two weeks ago. the dea or something raided the mayor's house, tied up an old lady (i assume his or his wife's mother), and shot their dogs. oopsy.
there were two baby birds in the parking garage where orientation was. it was the saddest thing. they had fallen out of the nest or something and were so pitiful. i tried finding a place to call to rescue them but i didn't have much luck. now i don't know if they're still there.
now it's about to start storming again. surprisingly i enjoy this weather because it gives me an excuse to curl up and read. and i love it :o)
