Bunnies lurk in pairs of three.
That being said, I'm getting a quicker head start on Ch13 of Beast. About 2000 words in, and the feel of this chapter is already much different. It's not as dark and shifty, but it does get very political. Caspian and Susan have had their first fight, but since they made up last chapter, expect happier scenes

I love bunnies. I don't think anyone caught my Bunny joke in Beast. Or if they did they didn't say anything. It was this one:
-----
“The Telmarines in general, or specific ones?” Caspian questioned. At the Boar’s reluctance, he added, “You need not fear. If it is true, I will protect your identity.”
The Boar snorted. “I’m not scared of any Telmarines, sire. But I do worry about some of the others. The Bunnies, especially, have not been treated well. They get bullied mercilessly by the kitchen staff, and even are threatened by the head cook, if you know what I mean. Horrible!”
“That is… that is truly awful,” Caspian managed to say, because really, it was. “I had known that there were still problems between the two, but I would never have thought my countrymen capable of insinuating such things!”
“Insinuating?” The Boar snuffed and wheezed in his indignation. “I don’t know about that, but the way they make them hop about carrying trays every time something has to be delivered all the way up the towers, why it’s unconscionable. And the head cook threatens to make it permanent.” The Warthog didn’t understand why the King suddenly looked so relieved, even to the point of exhaling loudly. Tenneth coughed.
-----
Poor Caspian thought the Bunnies were being threatened to be eaten. lol. Just wait cooks, you don't want to see the horror that is the Bunny Revolt.
I was joking around with Carla/cali-chan about how instead of feeling "meh" I was feeling "bleg". Thus was born Bleg. lol. I should write the "History of the Northern Giants", by Blargh the Eternally Unsatisfied.
...
I'm not sure even a Queen could handle Giant lovin'. LOL. Can you imagine that conversation between Su and Caspian? If the poor boy ever recovered, he'd have such a complex. ;)

“How many soldiers are in the castle and under which lords?” the Telmarine King wanted to know.
“As far as we can tell, the number is approximately one hundred and seventy men, the greatest number belonging to Lord Baerd.” Tenneth smirked a touch. “He looked especially nervous this morning when I saw him. He knows that I have become aware of his actions, although I did not say as much.”
“And the others?” Peter asked. “Who are their liege lords?”
“I do not know, but I would assume that it would be one or even all of the other council lords. There is a constant struggle for power, and having arms this close to the throne makes Beard very dangerous to everyone.”
“We have to get all of these men out of the here,” Caspian decided worriedly, standing up and pacing around. “If even one person draws steel, there could be a full out battle in the castle halls. This is not good.”
“Just order them out,” Peter suggested, but Caspian and Tenneth were both shaking their heads.
“It is not that easy, Peter,” Caspian explained, his dark eyes narrowing. “It is by right of royal decree that Baerd has them here. I cannot revoke my approval without reason, and to order the withdrawal of the personal guards could be taken as a threat to the lords’ personages. I might be able to ask Beard to lessen his total number of men, but no less than any other. To admit that I do not want them here because I fear conflict would only stoke a fire I wish to put out.”
Peter was aghast. “You’re telling me that this entire castle is full of Telmarine soldiers just sitting around and waiting to fight, and there’s not a thing we can do about it?”
Caspian just gave him a slightly sick look.
“I think I need a drink,” Peter decided, closing his eyes.

I do think going back to England changed Susan. That's why I referred to her in my description as Adult!Susan. I think growing up twice wasn't very good for her...

Wow, that was... random.
I did catch the Bunny-part, actually. Only your chapters are so freaking long I can never comment on what happened in the beginning of it simply because so many awesome things happened after...
I would totally read "History of the Northern Giants",by Blargh the Eternaly Unsatisfied. Reminds me off Ulrick the Awful and Eric the Unhygienic from Harry Potter *lol*
