Bunnies lurk in pairs of three.

That being said, I'm getting a quicker head start on Ch13 of Beast.  About 2000 words in, and the feel of this chapter is already much different.  It's not as dark and shifty, but it does get very political.  Caspian and Susan have had their first fight, but since they made up last chapter, expect happier scenes between the two of them.

I was thinking about Susan, and it occurred to me that the whole "The Gentle" thing never came out in the movies.  More like Susan the sarcastic in LWW and Susan the Hardass in PC.  Where's the Gentle?  But I also decided that I bet everyone completely catered to her and Lucy when they were Queens the first time.  It's easy to be gentle when you don;t have to fight for your life every day.  If Aslan called her gentle, then it is more in her nature to sit back and let things happen about her.  She's kind, she's brave, but maybe... a little passive?  Perhaps passive isn't the best word.  But in Beast, the Telmarine politics have gotten pretty harsh, and I can see her realizing just how dfifferent that is from Golden Age Narnian politics.  Since I don't see her as another Prunaprismia, I think our gentle queen is going to start hating the harshness.  Question is, can she do anything about it?  Will it make her look at Caspian differently?  He is a Telmarine after all.

Anyways, back to the next chapter.  I'm not sure if it will have Town stuff or not.  Kinda depends on how hard it is for Ed and Co to figure out the Town.  Anyone else think Malok was a FREAK?  lol.  *shudders*  On a side note not in the story, Bleg the Giant is a direct descendant from the Giant that attempted to court Su in the Golden Age.  His name was Blargh.
