On Sunday mechanteanemone  and I went on a photo expedition to the Arcata Community Forest.  We had some initial trouble finding parking, but a nice guy gave us a parking space and off we went.

Julia Cameron tells me that walking helps to free the creative mind, and so today I walked for an hour in the Arcata Bottoms.

Flocks of starlings cluster together on telephone wires, then swoop together past placid cows into fields.
