well, it's been a while. here's what i've been up to.
i went to a drive in movie for the first time in my life. it was sweet. i saw Dukes of Hazard (DUMB!) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Great!) for a total of $7.
Nate came down last weekend (the 13th) and we hung out. he watched my team lose at volleyball, and then we went out to eat. sunday we went to IKEA and MOA. that was a lot of walking! I bought him this really sweet picture from IKEA for his b-day. actually it's one picture split into 3 and you hang them in a row. it's pretty cool. I got a comforter from IKEA. nothing from MOA.
it was my girl Ally's b-day on the 15th, and Nate's b-day on the 17th, so i went to Fargo to celebrate last weekend. we just partied at Nate's on friday night. saturday he had to work in the morning, then we went to Home Depot, where i saw a bunch of people i used to work with. it made me very sad to tell them that i won't be coming back to work there. :( there were a ton of really cool people that worked there. then Nate and i went out to eat and went back to his house and played tennis with two of his roommates. we lost, because i'm horrible at tennis. but i try. then a whole bunch of people all came to nate's and we grilled burgers and other things. then we started drinking. we partied at Nate's til about 10:30 or 11:00 i think, then we went to Reeb's, a sports bar. it was there that i did my first tequila shot. 4 of us girls did the shot as a toast to small boobs. it was pretty funny. i was buzzed by the time i did the shot, so i didn't really taste it. that's probably a good thing. anyway, so sunday was a lazy day, but we got woken up at about 10 or 10:30 cuz two people from fargo moved back from miami, and had just gotten into town. so everyone got up and we hung out for a while. since all of us were hungover/tired from driving, we made breakfast. hung out the rest of the day, and went to go see 40 Year Old Virgin. it was decently funny, but i just don't know how i feel about the whole concept of the movie. contrary to what they would have you believe, i don't think being a virgin is anything to be ashamed of. later that night we went to a house warming party. i didn't feel much like drinking though, so we skipped out early. hung out on monday and drove back home.
over the weekend i bought tickets for the Foo Fighters and Weezer concert next month. I'M SO EXCITED! we got floor tickets, so it should be a rockin good time. concerts at the X are really good!
anyway, this week is just workin. i had to get a mantoux test for the nursing program, to make sure i don't have TB. pretty sure i don't, but oh well.
i've started running consistently again. man, am i out of shape. but i hope to change that as soon as possible.
this sunday my family and i are going to the MN State Fair!! one last hoorah before my bro and i go back to school. mmmm i can almost smell the mini-donuts!
anyway, i'm tired, so i'm gonna call it a night.
