So I have a homework assignment for my "Sociocultural Perspectives" class which is due tomorrow. I know I've left it late, but I was a bit busy working on my other class and trying to figure out how to fulfill the tutoring assignment for this class -- looks like I'm going to have a conversation that goes, "Yes I'd like to volunteer, but no white native English speakers, okay?" In any case, I have to write a "reflection" addressing who I am, what I bring to and hope to get from teaching, and what I want from the class.

Which is fine. Difficult, because I'm finding writing about myself more and more uncomfortable (I'm not sure why, I just am), but a reasonable assignment, so I'm ready to get down to it. Only... there's no information about how long she wants this to be. Now, I feel sort of high-school asking -- "How many pages? What font size? Will she notice if my margins are an inch and a half and I double-space?" -- but it'd be nice to know what she's expecting. I can answer these questions in one page, but if she was thinking something more like five...

Sigh. I'll just aim for three and actually manage two; that's what generally happens.
