I love these snippets and I hope you continue w/the 100 situations no matter what happens tomorrow night w/the series finale.
What I loved about Jake's story:
For a second.
--Any parent's worst nightmare. Love this solitary phrase.
At the lifeguard stand, Duncan began to wail for his older sister’s company
--great detail
the popsicle she had mysteriously acquired
--even BETTER detail. VERY little, even at 3
Weevil's story:
the floor, always littered with champagne glasses and bottles of tequila
--love this image combining touches of Lilly w/Weevil
Going to church made him dizzy, light-headed, hard. He continued to hear her offer to suck him off in a confessional.
--Love the shocker at the end here
Duncan's story:
Logan began slipping away from Veronica twice a year to come to Australia and surf
--Unexpected, I like it!
Lilly two-point-oh
--Love it.
Logan's story:
He’d stopped putting them in the same bed (same bathtub same shower same space on the floor)
--hilarious!
wrap himself more tightly around the living, breathing blonde slumbering next him.
--love that image
for liking the way things actually turned out better.
--I adore how you've ended each section of this story; each ending is moving in its own right, but this one touched me the most with its bitter honesty.
V's story:
For someone who never existed, Veronica knows a lot about Lilly Kane
--very interesting concept here
When Lilly was alive, she always thought she knew where she stood with the older girl. Now, she’s not so sure
--I love this sense of reality
at twenty-seven, she’s still not sure who Lilly Kane was.
--excellent, excellent ending.
As always, you rock. :)

I'm glad so many people noticed the popsicle thing because I wanted this scene to be foreshadowing in a way. Like, perhaps, on some level Jake always knew where his daughter's recklessness would land her. And I'm throwing those solitary phrases in just for you now.
The Lilly/Weevil part was the second to last one I wrote, and I wasn't sure what I was going to say until I started saying it. It just flowed, and I went back and I'm like, is the confessional thing too dirty? Then I decided Lilly was that wild.
Duncan's was hard to write because (and I think you know this), I'm not so fond of the Donut. So I made it bearable by incorporating Logan. Eventually, these two would have to have some kind of a truce. Besides, I think Logan would want to be a part of little Lilly's life once he matured, got married, had kids of his own, etc.
Oh Logan. I wanted to show Logan-then versus Logan-now, and I imagine he's changed a lot. This (and the Jake section) were the ones that made me want to write this so badly. Lilly hurt him so badly, and you never see him lashing out as a result. In the end, I think he'd just let go.
Veronica's section was the part that kinda came from my own experiences. It's been two years now since Jenna died and the whole situation is still so surreal. I wanted to capture that uncertainty, especially since they found out what lies some of their Lilly memories really were.
Heh. I'm so long-winded. Thank you for reading and being WONDERFUL!
