I haven’t figured out which is worse: a city with a great public transit system (Philadelphia) that goes on strike, or a city with a lousy public transit system (Baltimore) that never goes on strike. Neither is helpful to the commuter.

I wish someone could explain HOW the bus I catch to work can arrive five minutes early one day, and 20 minutes late the next. Methinks Goldilocks is in charge of the MTA (Mass Transit Administration).

Yesterday I asked the driver if 10:06 was now the correct time for the bus to arrive at my stop, thinking perhaps a new schedule was in effect. ( ( Read more... )

At least it's not Monday. Today was a slow day at work. Being in-between quarters, there are not a lot of new orders coming in to be requested, nor electronic documents to be sent. One of my colleagues seems to have spent the better part of the afternoon wrangling with the IRS. I think he said they received his payment but not his tax forms. Yes, ( Read more... )
