I had no idea this was even one of the choices, but I'm really okay with it.
Just as a bit of fair warning to everyone, the semester has started again. I have one professor from last semester who I didn't care for much, and a retired English teacher teaching my technical writing/master's thesis prep course who has clearly taken one look at the class, registered the fact that the students are all Engineers, mostly Asians, and decided that we can't write worth a damn, and will treat us like children for most of the semester. Hooray.
For the record, I got a 750 SAT Writing, 600 GRE Writing, 4 on AP English Language and 5 AP English Literature. I can write gorramit! Me, fail English? That's unpossible!
I've got a bit of a thing on Thursday. Might not be entirely appropriate to talk about it too much right now. Just wish me luck, and mayhaps I'll post Thursday or Friday about happenings.
I'm now actively waiting for cooler weather so that I can close my window at night and block out the train, the freeway, the planes flying overhead, and the gorram neighbor's alarm clock which can KEEP GOING FOR UP TO HALF AN HOUR AT A TIME IN THE MORNING!!!
Also, I would like for stuff to stop being so gorram expensive. Watcing the paycheck come in is great and all. Watching it all evaporate isn't so cool.
I need distractions, so I'll take requests. You may request content for this LiveJournal. What would you like to hear Rishi rant and rave about? Do you have a project for him?
Gotta leave for class in an hour. Cross your fingers, I just might make it out alive.
