In other news, I have no idea what is up with all the mass discontent among LJ users, as I have been out of the loop. For the record, I am staying put, and this journal will remain public. Creating a new blog requires effort, and I just don't have much of that in me. If any of you do chose to leave LJ, please let me know, and I will hunt you down and continue to stalk you.
Also, I did not receive many responses to my last post, so I provide a link in the hopes that more people will respond, because I would love to hear what you have to say.
In personal news, I have driven my new 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid for over a week now. I'm liking the consistent 40 mpg, and the fact that I know the mileage will only increase as I learn how to handle it better. I've discovered that the bike ride from the condo to work will take about half and hour each way (on my new bike, which is so much nicer than the old girl which got me through 4 years at Davis). I might be able to swing that once a week.
Also, Stardust is love. I am a notoriously picky movie goer, and I have not laughed that much at the movies since TMNT. Before that, I can't even remember. Get thee hence to the theaters!
Additionally, Pat is moving out this week. So, if you are an attractive, single woman needing lodging in San Jose, and are willing to cook, clean and perform various and sundry sexual favors, rent is free. Applications are now being accepted.
Seriously though, once Pat leaves, I will be all alone in the condo, and will passively be searching for a new roommate. Expect many more posts, as I will turn to the old f-list to curb my lonliness.
