Lily's Eyes (rewritten lyrics)
I've been searching for songs from the Broadway musical "The Secret Garden" and the quest is proving very difficult. However, I found several different versions of a song called "Lily's Eyes". For those a bit fuzzy on the chracters of Secret Garden, Lily is Mary's aunt (Colin's mum and Lord Archibald Craven's wife).
Well, in the musical, Mary has Lily's eyes and both Archie and his brother (Dr. Neville Craven) notice this and have a whole song about it. Seems both men were in love with her. And it struck how, with a little creative re-writing, the song could very easily fit into the HP universe with Severus and Remus singing it.
This is assuming that (as in my little fan-girl universe) that Snape and Lily were lovers for a brief time and that Remus also held a torch for Lily but held it in check out of friendship for James.
