Things I used to be thankful for...
Boy, I sure do miss college and high-rise apartment living for their scalding hot water and insane water pressure. Try as I might, I just can't get that same "rip the flesh off my back with stinging heat" feeling. That was always so relaxing and cleared out any cold from my sinuses rather well. I got fairly close on the hot water this morning, but not the pressure. Ahhhh. So close.
Then again, part of the stinging-heat in college may have been from the levels of chlorine from the Lake Erie treated water. That part of the water was hell for trying to dye my hair strange colors, but it was wonderful for lightening my hair without going to a stylist.
