Long weekend...
I need more long weekends. This one wasn't long enough. :)
This weekend involved a lot of video gaming with some chores thrown in, along with some crocheting. One Xmas present is now a 1/3 done. Yay! That only took 4 days, too. *dances* One of the chores this weekend was a bit more extreme than anticipated...
All three kitties got baths. The two boys were unhappy and tried to struggle out of the tub, but otherwise put up with it. The little girl, though... Not only did she dig up cptwinky's hand quite well, she howled like she was being skinned alive. Oh, goodness. She was very, very unhappy. Poor little girl. All three were given treats for putting up with the Monkeys soaking them in water, so no grudges were held. Actually, I got to wake up this morning with the little girl on the pillow next to me, so I know she's back to mostly normal.
We also got this neat new litter box. Booda Clean Step Litter Box - linked to Petco's ad of it, at least. It's rather tall for a litter box, but it's already keeping litter in the box rather well; in part because it's covered and they can't kick it out when digging, but also because they are leaving it more on the little stairs and not tracking it everywhere. If it continues to work out well, we may get another to replace the one remaining box. I've also been contemplating spending a bit more on the cats and going this direction: Feline Evolution CatSeat - also via Petco.
Have any of you reading this journal tried the CatSeat (or anything like it) with your cats? Any successes, problems, etc?
