You know something that annoys me? "It's just a sci-fi movie."
I'm not even a sci-fi fan generally, but sci-fi and fantasy get a lot of the same treatment, so it bothers me. It also bothers me because if people go around dismissing things like that, they just might be dismissing some of the best movies

Oh lord. There's a huge difference Blade Runner and the usual fare SciFi shows, like Snakehead Terror or Mansquito.

Seriously. I know what depths SciFi can sink to, my whole suite ended up semi-watching Yeti last week out of trainwreck syndrome. But it's Blade Runner! Just the sound over the credits should mark it as different if you pay some attention!
