This chapter, man, this chapter AJDGJSHJSDFBJ, I'm in love *with my feet off the ground*
I was actually going to just have a quick glance before going to do ...something but then I promptly forgot what it was and just ended up reading it from beginning till the end without even breaking the order and looking ahead, IT'S ALL OMG SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS AND EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HURTS AND WHATEVER HURTS DOES IT IN A GOOD WAY. I just want to wrap myself in this chapter like a soft blankie and roll around on the ground, you also brought me back to a sensation of a subtropical torrential rain and I forgot how great it feels, wow, and of course I was holding my breath all the time they were together and damn the kiss was explosive as the tension before it and I totally didn't expect everything going so well I thought it was gonna erupt somehow and end in a angsty cliffhanger but it kept getting better and wow, I love this chapter. And LOL, Troy not realising he took Britta's phone, I totally saw it coming, seeing as you wrote "speed dial n3" and not Troy *gg*

Whoa, anyway that was my incoherent flaily CAPSLOCKY review, I'll touch on some OMG awesome points in a coherent review after I'm coherent enough XD

DAMN THIS CHAPTER, DAMN, YOU RUINED EVERYTHING ELSE FOR ME BECAUSE NOW I DON'T WANT TO DO/WATCH ANYTHING ELSE BECAUSE IT IS BLEAK IN COMPARISON. *takes a deep breath* now you have met flaily Katya, now it's been a while since she made appearance but now it might be hard to put her back in the box XD

I think I kind of feel like Jeff when Annie told him he was worth something because OMG that was one of the most beautiful feelings in the world and how he was so overcome with emotion he wanted the door to disappear through his sheer will, just, aah, that scene, and everything else, damn. LIKE THERE'S NO WORDS FOR THIS THING THAT I'M FEELING.

“Just that the idea of you not being a mother to someone is …unconscionable.”
Not to be taken completely seriously, but it amuses me so I have to say it:
While the front of his mind has just caught up on the idea that he really does want Annie, the back of his mind is already thinking of (planning on?) putting babies in her *gg*

I figured out what feeling this chapter has that makes it so exhilarating, it's the feeling of freedom, it was what lacked before in Jeff's mind, because he is constantly constricting and controlling himself around Annie and here he just kind of slowly let go and it was magical and freeing and wonderful and open, honest!Jeff is definitely my favourite Jeff and just*sigh* Whatever future (evil that is you ;)) brings this chapter will definitely get me through any grim times <3 I wasn't quick to declare any favourites amongst chapters before because the story isn't finished yet but this is DEFINITELY my favourite chapter so far, but I'm sure you can top it.

...wow. Three seperate comments, all of them squee-ful.

So, this chapter worked for you then? I'm really happy that you liked this, because when I was writing it, it seemed a little too happy too soon, but I wanted them to actually relax. I didn't plan the kiss ahead of time, but they had been so cute that I just went for it, and apparently it worked.

Also, wet kissing is a popular thing.

Jeff isn't really sure what is happening, but he's actually listening to his instincts now instead of pushing them all down into their respective places in his brain.

This made me all light and happy. I'm really really happy that you liked this as much as you did. You might need to come back and re-read this one to remember how much you love me (and this story) at some point in the future.

Hee, and none of them of the essence *gg* There's so many segments that I like and so many braintwinny insight on Jeff and Annie's past and future.

I certainly didn't expect this happy this soon but I certainly am not complaining ;D But then I see this chapter as an advance payment, just like their kiss in chapter 4(?) was an advance payment for 12 chapter without any smooching ;)
I didn't plan the kiss ahead of time, but they had been so cute that I just went for it, and apparently it worked.
You didn't plan it and I didn't foresee it, brainwaves align fine *gg*

Also, wet kissing is a popular thing.
Do you think 4 Weddings and A Funeral has something to do with it? ;)

Jeff isn't really sure what is happening, but he's actually listening to his instincts now instead of pushing them all down into their respective places in his brain.
Yes, this is why it's so freeing and relaxing, reminds me of Jeff during Dinner with Abed, only better 'cause he's with Annie <3

This made me all light and happy.
I'm just returning the favour ;D

You might need to come back and re-read this one to remember how much you love me (and this story) at some point in the future.
Now you are just scaring me, damn, I'm really scared of terra incognita and I fully believe we haven't seen the full capacity of your evil powers D: I know it's a storytelling law when everything goes almost too well it's all gonna fall apart and turn to hell but it scares me because I don't know where the threat is coming from...

So, I take if Lucy is an in "I love you Lucy" (might have caught bits of that one on telly even though I don't remember a thing) but who is Gidget, Donna something and Pollyanna? (I know Jeff already called Annie like this once but when I tried to Google it then I didn't find anything conclusive)

You know enough to know it's more tragic if they're a little happy first. I am trying to butter readers up a little bit. There will be more happy playfulness for a while though.

I...have never seen 4 Weddings and a Funeral. Shh!

Gidget was an old tv character. She was pretty much naive and perfect.

Donna Reed had her own show in the fifties. Perfect housewife. She was also Jimmy Stewart's wife in 'It's A Wonderful Life'. Apron and heels and pearls and dinner on the table at 6, here's your cocktail.

Pollyanna (I'm stealing from wiki for this one) The Pollyanna principle (also called Pollyannaism or positive bias) describes the tendency for people to agree with positive statements describing them. The phenomenon is similar to the Forer effect. Research indicates that, at the unconscious level, our minds have a tendency to focus on the optimistic while, at the conscious level, we have a tendency to focus on the negative. This unconscious bias towards the positive is often described as the Pollyanna principle. She was a character in a novel and then a Disney movie though, to make it simpler.

Aaa, that is so evil canival! And the more you draw out the happy the more scared I am (you know I tend to panic and paranoia and always thinking the worst? As in when a person doesn't answer email I think they are dead/hate me/got abducted by aliens and only then simpler things as busy/bad Internet connection/forgot) Ok, ok, it is like the feeling I get every time I reread Physiology of Human Heart, like the time is running out until the ball drops and there's OMG HELL LOOSE. If only I saw which flanks are in danger and where the enemy is coming from...Pierce? Jeff's stupidity? Enemy Unseen? All of the above...

I am trying to butter readers up a little bit.
I knew this, I had a feeling, Greeks and their gifts!

I...have never seen 4 Weddings and a Funeral. Shh!
A-HA! Finally! *gg* (yeah, ok, I only watched it once 4 years ago when I had a period of Hugh Grant obsession *gg*)

Thanks for walking me through references,bb)

'It's A Wonderful Life'.
Another classic I haven't seen, but at least know what's the deal is about *gg* (though you know, if a movie is b/w it's a safe bet to say I haven't seen it xD)

She was a character in a novel and then a Disney movie though, to make it simpler.
Oh, finally, laymen's terms XD

Btw, have you by any chance seen St. Trinians? (that's random and has nothing to do with the fic)

Circle one? I think choices A and B are definite contenders.

I have never had a Hugh Grant thing. I know I should have, but...nothing.

Honestly, It's A Wonderful Life is only okay. My family watches every Christmas because it's my mom's favorite. But it's really long and I almost always fall asleep.

I haven't even heard of St. Trinian's. But now I have to go look it up quick and report back.

I knew it, it's like Fear Her, everything is beautiful and happy and nothing hurts and then foreshadowing of Doom in the end.

I have never had a Hugh Grant thing. I know I should have, but...nothing.
Same goes for me and Colin Firth, I'm probably the only period drama geek and Janeite who doesn't go all a-flutter for CF xD
(heh, I remember when I first watched Bridget Jones, I was like Who is that and Why is Hugh Grant not the main romantic interest? (and it wasn't even at the time I had a Hugh Grant thing, I just hadn't known anything about Austen and P&P before the 2005 movie came out) XD)

But it's really long and I almost always fall asleep.
Haha, like 70-80s Austen and Bronte adaptations *gg*

As for Roman Holiday, it's not like I don't know anything about it (lol, they actually made a modern remake of it here a couple of years ago *eyerolls*) or never had a chance to see, I just wasn't interested, I caught it on telly one night and tried to watch but I just wasn't into it, maybe some day in the right mind..

haven't even heard of St. Trinian's.
Lol, I wasn't trying to catch you actually, I just watched it yesterday and it was one of the most morbidly hilarious things I've seen in a while and it's got lots of familiar British faces (Colin Firth, Rupert Everett, Stephen Fry, Lena Heady, Russel Brand, etc) and ten year olds blowing up things and Colin Firth character accidentally killing a dog named Mr. Darcy and recreating a wet-shirt scene and Colin and Rupert (who plays two parts of a brother and a sister, a sister whom Colin Firth's character is in love with XD) singing "Love is in the air" during credits, so I thought I'd rec it if you haven't seen. If you love British humour you'll be entertained by it.

I LOVE Colin Firth. I own What A Girl Wants on DVD just for that scene of him putting on leather pants and dancing in front of the mirror.

Honestly, Roman Holiday is not my favorite. If we're talking genre, Sabrina is better. But Roman Holiday is good for what it is and fit too nicely into this story not to use it. When I first wrote this, it was a one shot that ended with Jeff getting on the plane with her at the last second. I was actually going to post it but realized that everyone would immediately want a sequel with them enjoying Italy together and being adorable. So I scrapped it, because I can't just write straight up adorableness. I have tried and I can't do it. And then someone requested a summer long epic in the FF thread and I thought I could make that into something. The RH Illusions came pretty late to the game. Actually, I can't really talk about some of it now, but I googled 'Rome princess' for title ideas, because I didn't want to call this thing Roman Holiday and got the quote page from indb and went from there. The title helped me figure out this story a lot.

That was a lot of info you didn't ask for. Not sure how that happened.

I am definitely going to check this movie out now. I love everything you listed (minus Russell Brand and killing dogs) and have nothing better to do today!

I know you do, hence bringing him up *gg*
LOL, I didn't bother watching that movie because the premise sucked but then when movies with Amanda Bynes didn't? *gg* I did watch a lot of crap just for David Tennant, though, so I know the feeling *gg*

If we're talking genre, Sabrina is better.
I've watched the 1995 version a few months ago just to more or less be up to speed.

I was actually going to post it but realized that everyone would immediately want a sequel with them enjoying Italy together and being adorable.
Hehe, you know the crowd all to well, never satisfied with just walking off in the sunset ending *gg*

I can't just write straight up adorableness.
Because you don't believe it yourself having a sceptical realistic nature and you can't write what you don't believe in and what makes you cringe when you reread it because you think (what if) it's too cheesy? ;) I have that syndrome at least, can read fluff can't write it XD

Also, how did Logan say "they don't write love songs about ones that come easy"? Something like that.

Haha, you see, I'm contagious, I always give away more info than asked for but I like it when I get more info in return, don't worry ;D Plus, we are having a friendly ramble, no limitations ;)

I am definitely going to check this movie out now.
Would you like a DL link? ;)

I don't have a strong opinion on Russel Brand, only saw him in a couple of things he just amuses me, so I laugh more at his expense, not because he's good or anything XD
As for killing dogs, I dunno what it is with British and killing dogs for laughs but when in Easy Virtue Jessica Bill sat on a dog all the peeps I was in the theatre with (I was actually out with my House fandom friends) including me laughed almost hysterically (we occupied all of the last row and other viewers, who clearly weren't Anglophiles and fans of British humour, looked at us in befuddlement all the time, we were the only ones laughing the entire duration of the movie)

The movie is really hilarious, though (fun fact, Rupert as a women is often dressed like a Russian grandmother, FYI XD), it has a sequel with David Tennant in it, too, which I plan on watching today.

WAGW is cute for being Disney tastic type comedy. I like it better than Princess Diaries at least.

I think I like the 95 version of Sabrina better. The original was a better film, but I would rather re-watch the Harrison Ford version. I have been told I have an irrational dislike for Humphrey Bogart and his creepy saggy eyes though.

I can read fluff just fine. I don't have a problem with too cheesy when it's coming from someone else. I just can't write it at all. I'm too sad and dark I guess.

One of my biggest pet peeves about fandoms in general is people always asking for sequels. The author wrote a certain story and unless they're really easily swayed ( which I am not), they aren't going to just jump to and keep writing. We're not (always) trained monkeys. Although monkeys are cool. So in anticipated response to a story I never finished writing, I'm going to drag the happiness out a long time.

I wish I could use a download link. My internet situation is terrible right now. I don't have any at home right now, so I'm writing on my laptop and then going to wifi hotspots ( usually my parents house) to upload and making them private and then unlocking from my phone and commenting from my phone. I just found out I have two more weeks like this too. I'm going crazy.

I used to like Princess Diaries, at least the second one, 'cause when I was 15 Chris Pine was rather dreamy, haha XD

Lol, I haven't seen anything with Humphrey Bogart so I'll take your word for it.

I can read fluff just fine. I don't have a problem with too cheesy when it's coming from someone else.
Exactly. We can always say we enjoy it ironically when it's not coming from us ;)

I just can't write it at all. I'm too sad and dark I guess.
I also don't take mushy stuff seriously and I can't write something I eye roll at myself...

So in anticipated response to a story I never finished writing, I'm going to drag the happiness out a long time.
Haha, "I've been in the revenge business for so long..."
(on the upside, though, if people ask for sequels means they really like the original, right? ;) Lol, they always forget thought that in movie business sequels very rarely trump the original and meet the expectations *gg*)

So, annoying readers aside, do you ever plan sequels yourself (or, like, when stories are a part of one 'verse and the authors and readers refer to the famous ones like Things-verse, Chaos-verse(those are actual verses in Who fandom *gg*)etc) or do they ever happen without planning or always only prefer doing stand-alones?
(see, I never ask for, I ask if there's a chance, and not even for this story but in general what is the chance of you wanting to expand on some story of yours, I'm thinking not good if you don't even reread your stuff but still, I'm curious about your writing habits:))

Poor you, I literally don't know what to do with myself when my Internet isn't working. And two more weeks? D: Hang in there.

I really don't plan sequels at all. I have in other fandoms and then get into them and they either suck or I start hating the show or I lose interest in the story. So with Community I'm trying not to. I just looked back through my fics and the only things I could right more on would be any of the chapters from the birthday series, but I'm not sure anyone would care.

Chris Pine is still a cutie. Humphrey Bogart is NOT.
