This was what kept my spirits up after today's exams (which, for the record, were PS and JS ... one subject toward which I feel absolute apathy, and the other I loathe with the fury of a thousand suns. Guess which one's which!). It's my iPhone's current wallpaper, so with every click of the Home button, I'm greeted with this happy, smiling face of glee, and soon I have that same face, too. (Like now!)

It sure as hell was needed to survive through today's papers, which made me feel like the following GIF:

(It's Stiglitz being whipped, in case the whip's too ... thin or fast to see.)

Okay, PS wasn't that bad, really. The format just caught me off guard. I knew the paper was worth 30% of the overall grade, and what the general format was like. But I was sure as hell not prepared to be asked for nine definitions of terms we'd learned throughout the semester and three interpretations of quotes from various renowned politicians ... in two hours.

Then JS ... JFC. It's partly my fault for hitting the books at the eleventh hour, but ... what. The paper bears no resemblance to what I'd forced into my head! None whatsoever! I think I'd left a quarter of the paper up to luck. At this point, I'm just hoping for a pass, which is kind of meh because you know I never aim for just passes! Agh. On one hand, though, I found out we got a B for our group paper, which is yay! because I was, for the most part, indifferent and unmotivated toward it. And yeah, me finding out that I got an A for my HY paper on the Nanking Massacre, coupled with that picture of Christoph up there: instant pick-me-up!

Oh, well. It's all over, at least. Time to burn give the notes back to Mother Earth!
