It was summer no to long ago
Jack and I sang -woke up to sunshine and smiles
It was happy no to long ago
There was no frost on my windows- on my heart
It’s nice to be warm inside and feel it on you
To feel it in everyone - warmth is contagious you know

I can still feel my brown skin
Touch my salt filled hair and count the freckles on my face
I met someone in the summer
He’s still with me -frost doesn’t scare him
He doesn’t care about the bare trees and bundled up people

I loved it last summer
When we spent every day together - just you and I
The two blondes having a good time - concerts -fun
