Today my very favorite aunt, Aunt Lynn, took me out for breakfast. I like Lynn the best because she seems to be the most open minded, laid back, and unconditionally supportive of my aunts. She's always willing to listen to what I have to say, and encourages it. I was telling her about the Ghost Tours in Savannah, and instead of being outright skeptical (Dad) or clearly attempting to sound interested (Mom), she seemed genuinely fascinated by everything I had to say. When it came up that I write gay smut for fun, she wasn't horrified, or put off. She said 'well tell me about it!', and when I described the plot to GIY she was actually smiling and interested. Of all the people in my life, she's always been the one to encourage my creative side, because I think she's the most creative of all her siblings. She likes to experiment with cooking, she paints, she plants lots of different flowers and grows her own herbs. She's the kind of woman I would love to be when I'm her age.
