Kind of Cheating
~ Well, it's Passover. Erik is observing it. I'm... not. Not fully, anyway. TODAY I am, just because I'm making matzah balls for lunch (and bringing some to work for dinner) and had eggs with veggies for breakfast. But overall I just can't give up grain. Not willingly. But I'm not eating any unleavened bread/grains in front of the hubby, and I plan to make curried turkey meatballs for dinner tomorrow night, since it's my day off and I want him to not be sad about lack of food options.
~ I might be crazy, but I've picked up two shifts in May that will make two of my Tuesdays twelve and a half hour workdays. Oof. I can always use the money, especially since I'm going to be taking a few days off this summer, but I will probably be cursing my choices when I've worked for six hours and am only about halfway done with my workday.
~ Frankly, if the building is sold and we have to move, I'm cool with it. I'm sick of cleaning the rental office for that crazy lady. Today she asked what Erik and I were doing for Easter, and I mentioned that Erik and I were actually observing Passover (I've told her Erik is Jewish probably a million times). Then she said that Passover was just like Lent (ummmmmm), and that I should watch Glenn Beck's show because he's so 'good' and called Obama out on his message to Israel during such a 'beautiful holiday' as being inappropriate.... Part of me was tempted to say 'I have a hard time believing anything Glenn Beck says since he raped and murdered a girl in 1990', just to see her reaction. Come on, lady, don't you know that religion and politics are two things you aren't supposed to bring up when you don't know the other person's opinions? And DAMMIT I'VE TOLD YOU ERIK IS JEWISH!!! I think I just have to flat out say 'I'm Agnostic!' for her to get the hint to stop pestering me. But I have a feeling it wouldn't go over too well. So yeah, sell the building so I can finally say something grossly inappropriate.
