Seussical the Musical
So today was kind of a gloomy day, but fun. I went to see the musical, "Seussical" with my theatre friends, Kaite, Whitney, and Mindy. It was good, I really liked it, but some of the actors were just ok. Gertrude was horrible! It was like a cheerleader on stage the entire time!! It got kinda old, but the rest of the cast was really good! It was a fun show. So, when I watched this musical tonight, I gotta chill because I've come to the realization that I'm going to be directing shows like this for a living!!! I can't wait! I'm so excited! I want to have my own production company some day and direct my own shows when I teach. If I had the option to pick the first musical I could direct it would be either, "Jekyll & Hyde," "Aida," or some other really awesome musical, like "Wicked!" Of course the script or rights won't be available to do it yet, but I'd find a way.
