I blatantly stole this from someone, because I'm too sick and too angry to come up with something on my own. (My entire head seems to have turned on me; I either have an ear infection or just a blockage, but it feels like my brain is stuffed with cotton and it's coming out my ears.)

I work at an Amazon.com warehouse, and while there may not be a plethora of LGBT material around, there is some. Lesbian sex manuals, for instance. Also a book that I very much encourage folks to read, "I <3 female orgasm." (That's how you do a heart, right?) I've seen several dictionaries/encyclopedia that contain info on a large number of human sexuality topics that aren't merely hetero. I've seen a sex manual for tops and one for bottoms. I've seen the ever-popular "Sex Toys 101" floating around (it had an entire chapter on lube; very informative ( ... )

no, the thing is, this is preventing people from ORDERING these books. and they're talking glib about oh it's a glitch oh it's some guy in france oh it's everyone's fault except ours please don't hate us forever oh god.
they HAVE it, yes. but they've effectively removed it from the site. which hurts the authors, 1, hurts the people who want to have access to those books, 2, and couches it all in a OH GOD PROTECT THE CHIIIILDREN statement that grates.
