Are you Done?

With holiday shopping?  Some cow-orkers and I were chatting about that the other day.  One of my cow-orkers hates shopping and wrapping so she tries to be done early in order to enjoy the rest of the season.  So by Monday, she was done with everything.  I am not quite so prepared.  I have done a lot, but I'm not Done.  As my relatives live on the ( Read more... )

Oh heck no. I'm feeling woefully under-inspired this year for some reason. I was at the mall last night and it was hideously depressing -- not just because of the intrinsic mallness, either! Usually I *like* shopping (mostly in-store, because I enjoy ogling and fondling and serendipitous discoveries *grin*), but apparently not this time around...

I've got less than two weeks to get stuff together, too. Oy.

I sympathize regarding the far-flung family. Our shopping is always complicated by the fact that we've got my family in the Cities, and Lemur's in Pittsburgh. We wind up buying a lot of stuff that's either easy to ship, easy to have delivered, or easy to fit in a suitcase.

We did three hours at Mall of America last night, btw. Oh, what fun...

Not done yet, but I wish I were. Most presents for relatives this year are photos of the small one (on calendars, ornaments, etc). It's surprisingly hard for me to shop this year, even online, because I'm still not used to doing everything one-handed while holding the baby with the other.
